Road March by CRPF to increase faith of voters

KAILASHAHAR:

CRPF along with police and TSR conducted a ‘Road March’ to increase faith of voters at Kailashahar town before one day of ending open and vocal campaign for Lok sabha poll.

Besides town Observers appointed by Election Commission, District Returning Officer were along with CRPF in the precession. Many passersby were witnessed the procession.

At first the officers and jawans of CRPF and state police were assembled at Unakoti Kalakhsetra. Observer of Lok sabha Poll Suresh Chandra Dalai, District Returning Officer Rabindra Reang, SP Lucky Chowhan, SDM Ajit Shukla Das, SDPO and OC of Kailashahar Police Station were also attended there.

Starting from the premises of the Kalakshetra, the jawans and officers paraded 4 Km up to Tilla Bazar.

Election will be held at all booths of East Tripura Constituency on April 18 in second phase of Loksabha Poll.

Meanwhile ample security personnel deployed at almost all booths to ensure free and fair poll. It is expected that the road march of security personnel will increase faith of voters.
