Following the example of Bhagaban Nagar the inhabitants of Chinibagan staged road blockade on demand of drinking water on Kailashahar – Dharmanagar Road today. As a result hundreds of vehicles with large number of passengers stranded for 3 hours. Consequently the owners had to face lot of suffering. At last the agitators withdrew the blockade.
Meanwhile people of Bhagaban Nagar succeeded to fulfill their demand for drinking water after staging road blockade before few days. Following their example people of Chinibagan started the blockade on demand of water today.
As a result vehicles examinees, patients for Shilchar stranded for three hours. On being informed Engineers of DWS rushed to the spot. But they failed to reach any amicable solution. Then vice chairperson of KMC Nitish Dey arrived there. Then the problem was solved on the basis of discussion.
The Engineers gave a written statement that water will be supplied everyday by tank. Permanent source of drinking water will be set up after Loksabha Poll.
