Middle aged women identified as Ratna Deb died after she was chopped off in railway track at Ichabazar area in Agartala Tripura on Thursday. The incident has triggered massive panic among the locals.
The incident took place when Ratna Deb, wife of Babul Deb resident of Badarghat was hurriedly crossing the railway track and got chopped by the Dharmanagar- Agartala Passenger train.
According to the eye witness, Ratna was spending her life in distress. Her husband suffered brain tumor operations twice, her children were also admitted in hospital and she was in hurrying on today meet her children in the hospital.
However after finishing the REGA work she just left for the hospital and while crossing the track which is illegal she was chopped off by the train.
Getting alarm the police reached the spot and recovered the body and lodged investigation into the case.
