PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury on Tuesday visited the flyover construction site. The visit was conducted to monitor the construction work of the flyover. Visiting the flyover Chowdhury urged the engineers to complete the construction work within time.
He also stated that the construction is going in a smooth way and if any disruption doesn't occur the construction will be completed in time.
If everything is going on in right direction, construction of the first flyover of the state will be completed by November, 2017 next,” stated Choudhury.
Now, the construction of the other supporting systems of a flyover is in progress and construction of a 120-meter long pillar-less balancing cantilever bridge and a portion of the flyover is in the final stage on river Howrah,” said Chowdhury.
