With the initiative of Tripura Chess Club, two day long State prize money chess tournament will start from tomorrow. The tournament will start from 11.00 am at Tripura Students Health Home.
Total prize money for this tournament will be Rs 30,000 as the best chess player will be awarded with Rs 6,000. Top 10 chess players in the tournament will be awarded with prizes. Also top three chess players in Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 categories will be awarded with prizes.
National Arbiter Pradip Kumar Roy will conduct the matches in the tournament. For the successful completion of the tournament secretary of the organizing committee Supriyo Majumder urged for the support to all level people.
