Preparation of Durgapura at final stage at Amarpur, Sabroom and Nutanbazar

Preparation of Saradia Durga Puja is going on at full swing in Amarpur Sub-division. Altogether 30 community pujas will be organized in town area of Amarpur including Durgapuja of Town Rankang, Rangamati, Bampur, Nutanbazar and different houses. At least five clubs organized big budget puja this year.

Desbandhu Club Puja Committee will organize colourful puja in the heart of the town. The budget of the club is Rs. 5 lakh. The pandal has been decorated with woods and cloths. The artist of Jatanbari - Sunil Das decorated the pandal and local artist - Keshab Dast prepared the idols. The club will organize cultural program every evening with local artists. The lighting also arranged by the local decorator Chandan Sen. The club will distribute Prasad among devotees during puja days and Maha prasad will distribute among devotees in Dasami.

The Head quarter of 5th Battalion of TSR  camp which is situated at Duluma - 5km away from  Amarpur Town has prepared attractive pandal. Jawans of TSR force constructed the pandal and idols. The pandal has been decorated with bamboo, canes, woods, clots to create an imaginary temple. Jawans of TSR - Sridam Rudra Pal and Jagadish Sarkar crafted idols. On the third day of puja i.e. Nabami the puja committee will organize a civic action programme in front of the puja premises.

Netaji Sangha, North -West side of Amarsagar Dighi will organize Durga puja. The budget of the club is Rs. 3 lakh. The pandal has been decorated by local artist Debal Saha with bamboo and cane which depicted the rural art and culture. Local artist Ratan Pal prepared the idols. The club will organize cultural programme during three day of puja. The club will distribute Prasad among the five hundred devotees on the day of Astami.

Red star club is going to celebrate 38th year of Durga puja this year. Puja budget of the club is Rs. 3 lakh. The pandal and idols of the committee prepared by local artists Bivas Das of Udaipur and Keshab Das respectively. The lighting has also been arranged by the local decorator. Besides, cultural programme will be organized a social activities like Swachha Bharat Abhijan, distributed sweet and fruits among the patients of Amarpur Sub-divisional Hospital. Similarly, Vivekananda Club, Amarpur Babasai Samiti, Ramakrishan Patha Chakra, Cosmos club, Bright Daymond club, Khudiram Sangha will organize colourful puja.

Club members are working day and night to complete last finishing touch of worshiping Saradia Durga Maa at Sabroom subdivision within rain, non cooperation of power supply, murder of journalist and suspension of internet service.

From information it revealed that 73 pujas has been organized under Sabroom and Manubazar Police Station this year. Among those 34 pujas organized under Manubazar Police Station and 39 under Sabroom Police Station. Sources said that three big budget pujas are being organized at Sabroom town at Samshan Bandhu Club and Bharat Sangha. At the same time single structure idols are being organized observing vedic customs at Douteswari Kalibari, Loknath Ashram, Ramakrishna Society, Garjantali Kalibari and Mehereswari Kalibari.

Besides, three big budget pujas are being organized at Popular club, Student Friendship club, Janakalyan Club in Harinabazar.

Popular Club is organizing highest budget puja spending Rs.7 lakh. The club is celebrating 29thpuja this year and it will be inaugurated tomorrow. Musical programme of orchestra will be organized from Saptami to Navami. Artist Narayan Das showed an impression of skill in construction of imaginary temple. Club member Tamal Bhowmik said that the club would keep special attention on low and order.

Student Friendship Club is the oldest club of Harinabazar. The club will celebrate 36th puja this year with in a budget of Rs.2.75 lakh. Cultural Programme and orchestra will be organized during puja here. Annabhog will be distributed among devotees on Ashtami Day. Besides, cloths will be distributed as a part of social programme of the club, said club member Bimal Pal.

Janakalyan Club has organized big budget puja with Akal Bodhan theme of Ramayana. The pandal has been decorated with 48 different incarnations of Maa Durga. The budget of the club is only Rs.3 lakh. The club will organized cloth distribution and awareness camp during puja.

Besides, Ajad Hind Club, Manu Bajar Byabsayi Samiti, Deshbandhu Club, Maitri Sangha and Yuba Kalyan Club organized big budget puja at Manu Bazar. Pioneer, Kalapania Nature Parkorganized puja at tribal dominated Kalacherra.

Swamiji Sangha prepared imaginary temple at Nutan Bazar. The budget of the club is Rs.3 lakh. Local artist Jyoti Rudra Pal prepared idols and Shyamal Chakraborty decorated and illuminated the pandal. Secretary Uttam Sutradhar said that the club would organize cleanliness campaign on Sashthi Day at market of Nutan Bazar. Sweets and fruits will be distributed among the boys and girls of poor section on the occasion. Besides, the club will organize musical programme with orchestra from Astami to Navami.
