Tourism and Transport minister Pranajit Sinha Roy visited Nutanbazar and talked with the owners of the shopkeepers after the devastating fire at market.
MLA of Amarpur, District Committee president of BJP, SDM of Amarpur accompanied the minister during the visit.
The minister expressed his grief on loss of shopkeepers of the market. The owners opined that conspiracy of sabotage was behind the fire. The minister gave responsibility to SDM to assess the loss and to bring out the way how the shopkeepers could get help from the administration.
On being informed about the Raima Tourist Lodge of Jatanbari Tourism minister said that he learnt that the anti socials enter at the lodge at night and insult the tourists. For that he blamed lodge owner Sambhu Das. He also cautioned OC of Natunbazar and said, the government will take action against the anti socials.
Later the minister organized meeting with officers of Agriculture department and Panchayat department. He also took information of the farmers and advised the officers to keep contact with farmers.
