Tourism and Transport minister Pranajit Sinha Roy inaugurated School Bus Service of Sabroom English Medium H.S. School today. The bus service from Manughat to the School at Sabroom started with initiative of MLA Sankar Roy.
It was the long pending demand of guardians which was neglected for long time. The service started as a part of initiative of modernization of education by the new government. At the same time the school decorated beautifully with initiative of the MLA. Meanwhile a new private Nursery English Medium School opened with initiative of MLA Roy.
Later on Agriculture Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy visited Pineapple garden of Amlighat today. Sources said that cultivation of Queen Variety of pineapple is going on at 32 Hectare land with initiative of Agriculture department.
Then the minister inaugurated Krishak Bandhu Kendra of Satchand Block at 3 p.m. which is 12th centre of the state. On the occasion he handed over 10 spray machines and 10 power tillers to the beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion the Agriculture minister said, the state government is active in implementation of center’s decision to double the income of farmers in state by 2022. At present the government is buying paddy from farmers through FCI and took initiative to increase income of farmers by cultivation of Queen Variety. MLA Roy sought cooperation of people for all round development of farmers.
