After lot of effort police of Kalamchoura Police Station got permission of taking six Bangladeshi citizens into police remand. Additional Session Judge of Sonamura granted the permission of seven days police remand.
Police arrested the suspected Bangladeshi citizens from Bangla Choumuhani area of Uttar Kalamchoura at night on October 22. Police seized some suspected and objectionable items from the including SIM card. The name of six suspected persons who would be taken to police remand are Farhad Sheikh (27), Iman Sheikh (41), Samirun Sheikh (20), Hira Khan (20), Rejoan Sheikh (40) and S. Shekh (25).
Meanwhile Government lawyer Sanjib Chakraborty continued lot of effort to sent the six suspected persons to police remand. IO of the case Tapas Das along with another SI Tapas Malakar went to Mushidabad of West Bengal for investigation of the case. They found that the persons are not citizen of Kanupur and Jaru Gram Panchayat of Murshidabad. DM of Murshidabad said to the investigating officers that the detained persons were not citizen of Murshidabad.
Police also knew from Rijoan Sheikh that they had financial relation with Asit Hazra and Rubel Sheikh. From investigation the officers knew that transaction of Rs.73, 46,050 and Rs.9,21,672 transferred from account of Asit Hazara within one year through Murshidabad Branch of Axis Bank.
The suspected persons informed that they were citizen of Singra Police Station under Nator District of Bangladesh. But they changed their statement after 2 days and claimed that they were dwellers of Kanupur village under Raghunath Police Station under Murshidabad district. They also tried for bail attending some women in the court in the name of their wife. However police succeeded to take six of them in police remand at last.
