North District eyes title in State School Cricket

UDAIPUR:

North District on their way to win the ongoing State level school cricket tournament organized by Tripura Cricket association as after winning their opening two matches the north district team placed them at the top slot in the points table. In their second match today at Jamjuri field, North District defeated West district by 44 runs in a low scoring encounter.

Batting first North District made 102 runs from 32.1 overs. Among the batsmen Tushar Nath made 25 runs, Abhishek Ranjan Choudhury made 19 and Abu Hasan made 15 runs. Among the bowlers Shyamal Biswas and Arkajit Das picked up 3 wickets each. In reply West district bundled out for a mere 58 runs. Mehrajul Haq, Tushar Nath and Sahel Debbarma picked up 2 wickets each.
