Nitai Ghosh Memorial Rating Chess: Arunika losses in both rounds today

Arunika Ghosh’s winning streak ended today as this talented chess player of Tripura lost in both rounds today in the ongoing Nitai Ghosh memorial Prize money rating chess tournament at New Jalpaiguri. Arunika lost in both seventh and eighth round of the match as after these two back to back losses Arunika has the same 4.5 points.

On the other hand Mithun Paul and Umasankar Datta have 5 points each at the end of eight round today. Both of them saw one win and one lose each. Another two players Manoraj Sarkar and Arnab Kumar Paul have 3.5 points each while Parthajit Saha has 3 points. Abhigyan Ghosh has 2.5 points. The ninth and tenth round matches will be held tomorrow.
