NGOS demand punishment of trader involved in of Labour Inspector

Tripura Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Sangh strongly protested against the assault of Labour Inspector by a businessman at Kakraban Bazar yesterday and demanded befitting punishment of the businessman.

In a press statement president of the committee Nepal Nath stated that Labour Inspector Manishap Noatia assaulted physically by businessman Prangopal Debnath (50) of Kakraban during his professional duty on weekly closing day at Kakraban Bazar yesterday.

Inspector Noatia found a shop was open at Kakraban Bazar on closing day of the market. He wanted to know to the shopkeeper why the shop was open on closing day and wanted to know whether the shop had registration.

But the shopkeeper started to use abusive language against the inspector and assaulted him physically.
