As the survivors of the Azad Hind Fauj or Indian National Army, Indian Armed Force Veterans and followers of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose plan to raise the Indian National Flag at the Red Fort on 21st October to commemorate 75th anniversary of establishment of Azad Hind Fauj, the elite society in Tripura on Monday organized series of programme at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan commemorating establishment of Azad Hind Fauj government in India.
Maj. Gen. (Retd) G.D. Bakshi and Grand nephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandra Kumar Bose, and Editor of Syandan Patrika Subal Kumar Dey was present during the event.
Addressing the event Chandra Kumar Bose stated that fist war for Freedom of India was done by Mangal Pandey in 1857 and the last one by Azad Hind Force. He also said that first time Indian Flag was hoisted on 14th April of 1944 by Azad Hind Force.
