National Women Under 19 Cricket: Odisha thrashes Tripura by 127 runs

The batters are not learning from the mistakes and thus Tripura faced another huge defeat today in the ongoing National Under 19 Women cricket tournament. Odisha today defeated Tripura women team by a huge margin of 127 runs.

Chasing a modest 218 runs to win Tripura women team bundled out for a mere 91 runs. Apart from Pushpa Radha Jamatia and Ambika Debnath all have been failed to cross the double figure score.

In the morning at JSCA Oval ground at Ranchi, Odisha won the toss and elected to bat first. From 50 overs Odisha made 218 for the loss of 3 wickets. Kajal Jena made 69 while Rasmita Chinhara made 47 while the rest of three batsmen made 20+ score. Among the bowlers Antara Das picked up 2 wickets. Chasing 218 runs to win Tripura was never in the match as they lost wickets at regular intervals.

Pushpa Radha Jamatia made 27 and Ambika Debnath made 21. Tripura bundled out for a mere 91 runs from 46 overs. Among the Odisha bowlers Kalpana Nayek and Subhra Nirjharini Swain picked up 2 wickets each.
