National Under 9 Chess: Tripura gets huge success

AGARTALA:

All the four chess players of Tripura got huge success today in the ongoing National Under 9 Chess tournament which has been going on at Gurgaon.

In the 7th round today Abhinab Roy defeated rated chess player of Manipur as this was his back to back win against rated chess player.

On the other hand Abhigyan Ghosh defeated chess player of Andhra Pradesh. At the end of 7 round both Abhinab and Abhigyan have 4 points each.

In the girl’s round Baishali Debnath defeated Sahana Mathivanan of Tamil Nadu while among the boy’s Sourish Debnath played a draw with Ankit Rao of Bengal.

Both Baishali and Sourish have 3 points each at the end of 7 rounds. The 8th round matches will be held tomorrow and will start from 3.30 pm.
