Municipal School SM Cup Football to start from tomorrow

AGARTALA:

Municipal Inter School Under 17 (Boy’s) SM Cup football tournament will start from tomorrow and will continue till July 17. The tournament will be held through knock out basis. With 5 schools of the city, the tournament will get underway from tomorrow.

Participating schools are Don Bosco School, Ramnagar High School, Umakanta Academy, Shishu Bihar School and Bodhjung High School. All the matches in the tournament will be held at MBB College Field and Swami Vivekananda stadium as along with final total 4 matches will be held.

Regarding the tournament the fixture has been announced by Satya Ghosh, Secretary of Municipal school sports board. On the opening day three matches will be held. At 7.00 am Umakanta Academy will face Shishu Bihar School while in the second match Don Bosco School will face Ramnagar School at 9.00 as both the matches will be held at Vivekananda stadium.

At 3.00 pm at MBB College field Bodhjung School will face the winner of the second match and the final will be held on July 16 at 8.00 am. Winner will face best team of Dukli block on July 17.
