MLA Pramod Reang assured to help a 40 percent physically challenged youth while visiting his house who completed graduation in 2015.
Sources said that physically challenged youth Swarup Roy completed graduation from Udaipur College in 2015. His father Anup Roy is a daily labourer and mother is house wife. His brother studies in class X at Kanchan Nagar School.
Swarup could not walk since his birth. His father carries him his lap. The earning of father is the only source of the 4 members family. Swarup’s father is also engaged in work of Laundry at night. Within such a situation Swarup continued his study and completed BA. He failed to get any help from the leaders and ministers during the period of Left Front.
After pressure of media the last government provided allowance Rs. 600 and one wheel chair for Swarup. The family members explained the situation when Promod Reang visited their house for campaigning in favour of BJP. He also assured that he would do something if he could win in the assembly poll.
Swarup wanted to meet the MLA yesterday. Then MLA Reang said that Swarup should not come but he would visit their house. Accordingly Promod Reang visited their house yesterday and got all information about him and family. He to help Swarup in future. After the visit the family members expressed their happiness and local people appreciated the role of MLA.
