A total of around 25 passed out students of Institute of Nursing and science were felicitated and awarded under the banner of Lipika Dasgupta Memorial awarded and felicitation program. The program was held at RS Bhawan and Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman inaugurated the program.
Lt Lipika Dasgupta, the founder Director of the Institute of nursing science started the journey of the institute with 20 students and now they have more than 300 students.
Swami Hitakamanada Maharaj, MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik, Dr Dilip Das, Kalayan Narayan Bhattacharjee Senior advocate, DR Alekhya Das Gupta and others remained present in the program.
Addressing the program, Health Minster Sudip Roy Barman stated that after his trip to China he has realized that people their talk less and work more and this is the only funda for bringing development in our state. Students are the asset of our state and they can bring development once guided properly, said Barman.
