At last court ordered jail remand for the leader of unruly gang of youths at Khowai subdivision.
Sources said that leader of four youths led by Manobir Gope, a self announced leader of ruling party attacked Arjun Sutradhar at the premises of Janmastami Mela and injured him seriously. At present Arjun is under treatment at G.B. Hospital.
Meanwhile police filed a case on the basis of written complain of Arjun’s mother Rekha Sutradhar and started investigation. Later police arrested leader of unruly gang Manobir Gope and produced him in the court. The court ordered 8 days jail remand for him. He will be produced again in the court on September 17.
Sources said that the protectors of law and order in the state are tying up their eyes although lot of allegations raised against the gang of youths. At last police bound to arrest him as he crossed all limits and at present his address is Khowai jail.
