Lack of techniques in players despite lots of power: Minu

AGARTALA:

Several new faces have been came out from the recently concluded State School Kabaddi tournament as lots of players from Gomati, Khowai, Dhalai and North district drew attention to the members of the Kabaddi association.

National Sub Junior Kabaddi tournament will be held in Jharkhand on November where Tripura will also take part.

For this event the state team has been formed for the recently concluded state event. 15 players each from Boy’s and Girl’s section have been selected for the state event in two sections.

In the recently concluded state event at Karbook, West District became champion in Boy’s section while Gomati District became champion in Girl’s section.

Secretary of State Association Minu Saha Choudhury said,” Some fresh talents have been found from this state meet but all the players have lack of technique despite good power. All the districts should train them well before this national event while before this national event state association will also provide with special training to the players.”

She strongly believed that if the players get some days of practice then they will perform well in this national event.
