International standard Indoor Stadium will be inaugurated today. This 2067 seated International standard stadium will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
Among the respected dignitaries Sports minister Sahid Choudhury, Mayor Dr Prafullajit Sinha, Parakhhit Murasingh, Samarjit Bhowmik and PWD Chief Engineer Ashit Bhowmik will remain present in the opening ceremony.
Also Indian Gymnastics Icon cum Padma Shree Dipa Karmakar and Dronacharya award winning coach Bisweshwar Nandi will also remain present. The construction work of this stadium started way back in 2011 as the stadium has been built by JP Project limited.
The stadium consisted of 3726 square feet which also has a VIP room. First floor will be consisted of 27 rooms while the second floor has been consisted of 8 rooms. Around Rs 45 crore has been spent to build this international standard stadium.
