Six days long India – Bangladesh International Youth Camp ended at Tripura State Cooperative Union Hall of Agartala today which was organized with initiative of Tripura Adventure Social Expedition Organization of Purba Chandigarh under Melaghar.
The camp started on November 12. Altogether 26 young boys and girls participated in the camp including 13 delegates of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujiboor Rahaman Agriculture University of Bangladesh and 13 delegates of Tripura Adventure Social Expedition Centre on behalf of India.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma inaugurated camp in presence of Principal of Agartala Women’s College Manidipa Debbarma and Professor of Bangladesh Agri University Dr. Md. Safiul Islam Afrad and president of organization Bijoy Das.
Sources said that discussion held at the camp on management of three tire Panchayat, rural development procedures of different community development block, atrocity on women, awareness to stop murder of bride, programmes of Tripura Central University, production system of Jumer Dhepa Sabji Utkarsha Kendra, above all campaigning of natural beauty and tourist spot of Tripura among the people of Bangladesh.
Among others chairman of ADC Ranjit Debbarma, Justice of Tripura Lokaukta Subal Baidya, Chairperson of Tripura Commission for Women Barnali Goswami, Headmaster of Nabadwip Chandra Institution of Sonamura Sushanta Chakraborty. National Youth Award winner Liton Shil was in management of the entire programme.
