In a tragic incident one person electrocuted and died in the last night when he was talking with his wife on the veranda during rain at Udaipur. His wife also injured seriously.
Sources said that Bichitra Bijoy Jamatia (30) was talking with his wife Sabita Jamatia (26) at the veranda of his house at about 8 p.m. during rain at Dakmura in Maharani under Udaipur subdivision. All of a sudden they were electrocuted by lightning of thunder.
As a result Bichitra and his wife injured seriously. Immediately Bichitra was shifted to Maharani PHC and then he sent to Gomati District Hospital where the doctors declared hid dead.
Besides, treatment is going on for Sabita Jamatia at the same hospital.
