The Khowai court sent husband and brother-in-law for four days police remand in allegation of house wife’s murder at Singicherra and ordered the investigating officer to submit CD in the court.
Sources said that house wife Rinku Dutta (Biswas) was found dead at her husband’s house whose throat was cut at place of voice cord yesterday. It is suspected that she was murdered at anytime at night.
Meanwhile police arrested her husband Sukesh Biswas and brother-in-law Subhra Biswas in last night. They were produced in the court for interrogation today. The court ordered to send both for four days police remand and to submit CD of the case to the court on October 3.
In the meantime police filed a case at Khowai Police Station in response to the appeal of father of the house wife Loknath Dutta under case no 114/2018- U/S 498 A/302/34 of IPC.
Sources said that police got the information of murder at 10 p.m. yesterday although the incident took place in between 8 pm to 8:30 p.m. Immediately a large contingent of police led by OC Krishnadhan Sarkar and SDPO Sourabh Sen and other officials rushed to the spot.
Arriving there they saw Rinku Biswas was laying on the floor of the house in cut throat condition within huge blood on the floor. At first stage husband Sukesh Biswas tried to make understand police that Rinku committed suicide. Later her husband told that somebody fled away after murdering his wife. There was blade beside the hand of the body. Police also found difference in statement of husband and brother-in-law.
