The incident of committing suicide by house wife after leaving the meeting of village court to mitigate case of illegal relationship created the situation tensed at Shyama Prashad Colony of Sabroom town today.
Sources said that husband of the deceased Prasenjit Banik alleged that he slept after meal at night yesterday along with his two years old daughter and wife Sumi Majumder in last night.
At the wee hours of night Prasenjit was awoke from sleep. At that time he saw his wife in unfair condition along with another youth Sujit Shil, son of Haradhan Shil of adjacent house. Immediately Sujit fled away from his house. The incident created huge reaction. As a result a village court was called in presence of Prasenjit and his wife in the morning today. But his wife left the meeting when all were busy in discussion and committed suicide by hanging at her room.
Later police recovered the body and shifted to morgue of Sabroom Subdivision Hospital. The body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
