High Court Bar meeting held

The Bar Association of Tripura High Court today in a daylong meeting, it was unanimously decided that the High Court would unveil a logo of the organization along with launching a brand new website that would exhibit the core of the organization, said Pradyot Dhar chief of Tripura High Court Bar Association while speaking to the media persons.

The meeting, he added, was convened to discuss the emerging problems faced by the lawyers’ fraternity of the state. The major problem that has came forefront during the proceedings of the meeting was that a large number of lawyers who use to practice in the Guwahati Bench are facing a meager situation as they were still not provided with their transfer certificates which creating further problems in terms of issuing practice certificates. We have decided to take the issue under consideration of appropriate authorities in order to dissolve the longstanding problems of the lawyers, he added.

In the same press conference, Advocate General Arun Kanti Bhwomik said, we have also decided to set up a lawyers’ welfare fund to help the lawyers in need and carryout other welfare activities.
