Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki on Thursday inaugurated a Seminar held on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Durbar Hall Old Raj Bhawan. Tripura University VC Prof. Vijaykumar Laxmikantrao Dharurkar along with others remained present in the program.
This seminar is organized to popularize Gandhian ideology among students and youths.
Addressing the program Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki stated that the state government is following the path shown by father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and development is ensured once the roots are followed.
Addressing the seminar he further said that I am honored to address this seminar on the occassion of his 150th birth anniversary. Mahatma Gandhi was an exceptional leader and human being and our government is very much implementing the ideas of a developed nation which Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of.
Assam records 45.12 pc polling, Meghalaya's voter turnout 50.23 pc till 1 PM
