To mark the celebration of 109th International Women's Day, the Women’s Development Cell of Tripura Gramin Bank on Sunday distributed necessary commodities among the children of “Naba Prantik” orphanage.
All the higher officials of the bank including Chairman of the Bank Mahendra Mohan Goswami, General Manager of the bank Moni Kumar Hojara, Deputy General Manager NABARD K. Gopalan, Regional Manager of West Tripura District Payel Saha and Convener of the women’s development cell Rita Roy remained present during the goods distribution programme.
In the programme, 800 kg of rice, moong dal 20 kg, musoor pulse 25 kg, pea 30 kg, onion 15 kg, potato 110 kg, muri 20 kg, scratched 12 kg, mustard oil 16 kg (1 tin), masroom, latha 7 kg, soybean 60 kg, milk 48 liters, Horlicks 4 kg, all types of cooking spices, curd-sweet were given.
Moreover, two large cement filters, 1 foot sewing tailoring machine, were also given to the children for their betterment.
