Five Bangladeshi girls detained at Churaibari

CHURAIBARI:

At least five young girls belong to Rohingya group caught red handed along with a smuggler at Churaibari Police Station today. Meanwhile hundreds of Rohingyas entered illegally in Indian Border crossing Bangladesh and Myanmar. Rackets of agents are involved with such infiltration.

Sources said that one smuggler Sajmal Mia started for Shilchar along with five young girls by hiring a Maruti car in exchange of Rs. 6000. The names of the five girls are Jannat, Abija, Halecha, Rabika and Rasida. All are in between 18 to 20 years. But police from Churaibari Police Station stopped the car.

During interrogation of police they admitted that they were from Cox Bazar of Bangladesh. They have been produced at Dharmanagar court today. On being asked police officials refused to open their mouth.

However the foreigners described at Bangladeshi citizen. No documents recovered from them. Sources said that they were attempting to go to Jammu and Kashmir.
