Egiye Chalo today displayed some outstanding skills of football and defeated Nine Bullets by 3-0 n the first match of super stage tournament and thus made their place to the final of the ongoing First division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association. With this place in the final Egiye Chalo is dreaming to win this first division title after a gap of 15 long years. Till now in the tournament Nine Bullets remained unbeaten but in this match today they lost with some margin. Nine Bullets will get another chance when they will face the winner of the second match.
The main architect behind this win of Egiye Chalo was the coach Subash Basu as today he used his brain in such a wonderful effect. Before the start of the match he knew about the strong midfield of Bullets team and thus he entered his 5 players in the midfield today and simply thrashed the back bone of Bullets team. Also outstanding hat trick by Debraj Jamatia led Egiye Chalo to the final of the tournament. Though Debraj scored three goals but behind two goals foreign footballer Joseph played a key part as his contribution was also very much acknowledgeable in this win for Egiye Chalo.
On the other hand Nine Bullets strengthen their team with the inclusion of Mizoram footballers but they faced problems from the start of the match in the wet field. In the 17th minute of the match Egiye Chalo drew first blood as a strong shot from Joseph slipped from the hand of opposition goal keeper and taking the chance Debraj scored the opening goal. 5 minutes later Joseph created another chance by a superb header but this time Debraj failed. In the 70th minute Debraj scored his second goal while just before the end of the match Debraj scored his third goal of the match and thus Egiye Chalo won the match by 3-0. Raktim Saha was the referee of the match.
