Expectedly Egiye Chalo today defeated Forward club by 3-2 and thus made their way to the super stage of the ongoing First division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.
At Umakanta mini stadium today from the start of the match Egiye Chalo players played attacking football and thus in the end won the match and also cemented their place in the super stage of the tournament. on the other hand with this loss Forward moved one step forward to made their way to the demotion.
Also in the match Forward got so many opportunities but due to lack of quality strikers they in the end lost the match. In the 22ndminute of the match Egiye Chalo scored the opening goal of the match when Pranab Sarkar scored from spot penalty.
Just before the end of first half Juala scored the second goal while in the 59th minute Lal Than Bhaora scored the opening goal for Forward and in the 72nd minute Joseph scored the third goal. In the 81st minute Goutam Debbarma scored the second goal for Forward. In the end Egiye Chalo won the match by 3-2. Biswajit Saha conducted the match today.
