In another unprecedented incident fire broke out at a running car which was loaded with dry grasses and proceeding towards Chittamara of Belonia today after two days of terrifying incident of death of three person by burning on the road at Amtali after collision among auto, car and bike .
Sources said that Sukanta Ghosh of Chittamara went to Joyhari Para with his Bolero car (TR 03 1820) to collect dry grasses. After loading grasses the car was started for Chittamara again. The upper sides of loaded grasses were coming in touch of hanging power transmission line when the Bolero car was moving on the road.
All of a sudden fire broke out in the grasses by friction of power transmission line. The driver tried his best to extinguish the fire by overturning the car on the ground. But all his efforts went vain. The car burnt with high flame in front of their eyes.
Meanwhile police and Fire Service rushed to the spot. But they failed to save the car. Although Fire Service reached late as the road was narrow.
Sources said that Belonia Police Station filed a case in connection with the incident.
