Feasibility finding report tabled on introduction of NCERT syllabus in Tripura

AGARTALA:

The Tripura government constituted expert committee has tabled the report on Wednesday over finding out feasibility in introducing NCERT syllabus from the upcoming academic session. While informing this to the media on Wednesday evening the state education minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the cabinet meeting shall study the report of the committee tabled with the department.

He also said that if everything falls in the right track the NCERT syllabus shall be introduced soon at school level in the state without the "modifications made during the previous Left rule.

While addressing the press at the secretariat press conference hall on Wednesday evening the minister said, "We have decided to consult acclaimed educationists to introduce the syllabus at school level without change and henceforth the state government has constituted an expert committee with the educationalists in the team on May 16 this year to find out the feasibility of introducing NCERT syllabus without any modification."

Mr. Nath said, "The state government has given maximum importance for developing the quality of education."
