During the peak time of business ahead of Durga Puja, the anti encroachment drive by the AMC task force along with Tripura police has triggered massive panic among the businessman of the city.
During the drive the banners, posters, the illegally occupied parts of the road by the hawkers, the extension of the shops were demolished.
However, the drive has triggered several questions among the businessman of the area. The shopkeepers have alleged that why the force is only targeting the hawkers and why not taking any action against the parking of bikes by the outsiders.
