East Zone Women Cricket Event: Assam defeats Tripura by 9 wickets

AGARTALA:

Tripura Under 19 women cricket team lost all of their four matches in the ongoing East zone Women Under 19 cricket tournament.

Today in the last match Assam defeated Tripura by 9 wickets. Batting first Tripura made just 116 runs which have been achieved by the Assam batsmen in just 33 overs losing just 1 wicket.  

In the morning at Oval Ground in Ranchi, Tripura won the toss and elected to bat first. From 48.4 overs they made 116 runs. Among the batsmen Shiuli Chakraborty made 35.

Among the Assam bowlers Kakoli Saikia picked up 3 wickets. In reply Assam achieved the target in just 33 overs. Gayatri Gurung made unbeaten 48 while Priyanka Boruah made 33.
