With an appeal to exercise franchise to all voters in the ensuing Loksabha poll DM of North Tripura C.K. Jamatia along with two observers and SDM of Dharmanagar started journey of 17 vehicles with slogans at Dharmangar today.
The purpose of the journey is to spread awareness so that no voter should remain aloof without voting in the Lok sabha poll. All the 17 cars will move in different parts of North district with the same appeal.
Election Commission has emphasized on voting by highest number of voters to give the Lok sabha Poll, 2019 a form of largest democracy of the world.
The Commission laid stress on keeping no voter detached from voting due to any kind of fear or threat.
