Deputation of All India Democratic Women Organization to DM of Gomati created the situation tensed at Udaipur today. R.K. Pur Police Station sources said that police did not allow to organize procession of AIDWO. Later SDPO permitted them to organized rally from Gomati Yatri Niwas to DM office. But a bike rally of BJP came through the road according to previous announcement. Observing the bike rally the members of AIDWO postponed the programme of deputation.
Speaking to media at a press conference on the matter MP Jharna Das Baidya alleged that BJP- IPFT coalition started autocratic administration after coming into power in the state. The police administration has been sold themselves to the ruling party. She also alleged that BJP workers created a tensed situation at Udaipur centering the deputation of AIDWO. Referring BJP adopted autocratic rule breaking the democracy she said the party will go for greater agitation in protest in days to come.
Meanwhile at a press release BJP claimed that BJP had not created any obstruction at rally of AIDWO. BJP organized rally according to pre – announced programme.
