Education department of the State Government is surprisingly maintaining silence about the fake B.Ed. certificate holder teachers although the common people and a section of employees of the department are demanding proper investigation against the teachers.
Recently the Education Department stated in context of fake B.Ed degree holders that the department would not file any case against the teachers who would surrender themselves. However the department will take legal action against the B.Ed degree holders if they are found possessing fake certificate in investigation of Vigilance Team of the department.
Meanwhile 62 complaints submitted to the department after the strong action of the State Government. Among them 16 surrendered to the State Government and case filed against 15 fake certificate holders. At present investigation is going on against them. At the same time verification of certificate including documents of TET exam is going on for 31 teachers.
Meanwhile allegation raised against the fake certificate holders that they had bought the B. Ed or D.El. Ed.certificate from a racket of agent in exchange of Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh.
Sources said that the agents provided the certificates in exchange of huge amount from different colleges of Hyderabad, Chennai, Bihar, UP and Jharkhand. There are many examples of B.Ed and D.El. Ed. degree holder teachers who had never went out of their house or who were engaged in other jobs.
At the same time the department failed to provide reply to a journalist of Ambassa who wanted to know different information under RTI. He wanted to know how many persons got job under the department from 2015 to 17 including list of Dhalai district, from where they got post graduate and B.Ed degree. But the department failed to provide any reply even after four months. Again more applications submitted to the department with similar query.
