Police officials of Kailasahar police station today recovered a dead body of one Paritosh Das (43), a group-D employee of the Kailasahar District Hospital, who went missing from last night.
According sources, Paritosh was last seen at a “Keertan” organized by his neighbors. Last night he did not return to his house. However, locals spotted his head floating at a pond located exactly adjacent of the house where he was spotted last.
Later on, police officials recovered his body and recovered a pouch of meat from his carry-bag. Finding his pant’s zip down police sources said, it is suspected that he was slipped into the pond while urinating and due to his (suspected) intoxicated condition he could not manage to swim ashore.
