D.El. Ed aspirant teachers demand to postpone exam

UDAIPUR:

The teachers appearing Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed.) Examination under IGNOU have raised demand to postpone the exam for one month.

Earlier the State Government gave the charge to IGNOU to conduct D.El. Ed course for government teachers of the state. The teachers will appear D.El. Ed who are teaching the students under Elementary Education.

But the routine of the examination created resentment among the teachers who are the candidate of the exam this year.

Sources said that IGNOU has scheduled to start the examination on June 1st this year while Practical Activity class is going on at some study centers and it will continue till May 25. Meanwhile the study of the teachers affected seriously due to recent flood throughout the state. Some of the candidates had to shift their dwelling place due to flood. Besides, study of the candidates also affected due to recent assembly poll of the state held before two and half months.

The candidates also alleged that there is no chance of study if the Practical Activity class continues till May 25. So the teachers demanded to postpone the exam for one month.
