CRPF celebrated 12th Raising Day of Group Centre CRPF at Adarini today. Many functions were organized on the auspicious occasion where force personnel and family members participated with full zeal and colours.
The day started with hoisting of flags and salutation at Quarter Guard of Group Centre Agartala. Later CRPF IGP of Tripura Sector Sh. S.C. Verma narrated the laurels achieved by the Group Centre personnel in the field of Gallant actions. He appreciated the administration which functioning to maintain the law and order situation of the country.
Quarter Guard Ceremony was followed by Sainik Sammelan at Men’s Club of Group Center. On the occasion a mela was organized at Orchid Farm of Group Centre Agartala from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Total 18 varieties of stalls were made available including food items, consumer goods and games.
IGP Tripura Sector CRPF Sh. S.C. Verma inaugurated fair in presence of Sh. Vinay Kumar Rai, DIGP Range Agartala CRPF, Sh. Ghanshyam Behwal, Commandant, 71 Bn, and Sh. Anil Bisht , Commandant, 124 Bn.
Officers and jawans of Tripura Sector and its affiliated units along with family members witness the function with tradition and gaiety.
