Crisis of doctor at Dist Hospital Gomati

UDAIPUR:

Gomati District Hospital of Udaipur is suffering from crisis of doctors. Meanwhile some doctors transferred from the hospital to other hospitals. As a result medical service seriously hampered in the hospital. Consequently common people are being deprived of medical service who are coming from different parts of the subdivision and district.

Meanwhile Dr. Jhimi Debbarma, MBBS transferred to other hospitals. At present five doctors are providing services in the hospital. Besides, Dr. Sujit Sutradhar (MD, Medicine) transferred from the district hospital to IGM on November 14. There were two doctors of Medicine in Gomati District Hospital including Dr. Sujit Surtrachar and Dr Narendra Chandra Das. At present the district hospital is functioning by one doctor of Medicine.

Meanwhile people raised question how can one doctor manage ICU, outdoor and indoor of a hospital. 

At the same time two MLAs of ruling and opposition and two ministers Ratan Bhowmik and Naresh Jamatia have no concern with the problem. Meanwhile local people raised demand to cancel transfer of Dr. Sujit Sutradhar.
