As was expected the ruling CPI-M party here on Wednesday tuning a political twist to the killing of TV Journalist Santanu Bhowmik today has blamed the BJP and claimed, "The BJP-supported IPFT has attacked the journalist today and we the communist party condemn this."
This perhaps has come up while the CPI-M Tripura page in a social media has uploaded an image calling bandh on Thursday in Jirania Subdivision in protest of killing of journalist Santanu Bhowmik.
In its page in social media the CPI-M attacked the BJP saying, "The BJP-IPFT is trying to damage the peace and harmony of the state."
However, in protest to this incident took place on Wednesday evening the CPI-M called for 8 hours bandh from 6 AM to 2 PM in the subdivision where the TV Journalist Santanu was killed.
Besides, the journalist wings of the state has been demanding for an immediate arrest of the culprits and bring justice to the death of Santanu who was killed today allegedly by a group of armed tribal youths at Mandai and later thrown to jungle.
