Court grants bail for 6 CPIM leaders

UDAIPUR:

CJM Court under Udaipur District Court granted bail for six CPI-M leaders in connection to the case filed against them in allegation of organizing rally at Udaipur town disturbing peace, law and order of the town on July 24 in 2018.

The CPI-M leaders including MLA Badal Choudhury, MLA Ratan Bhowmik, former MLA Madhab Saha, Secretary of CPI (ML) Partha Karmakar, Udaipur Subdivision Secretary Manik Biswas and Dibakar Chakraborty led the rally.

The rally was allegedly organized without permission of police. The rally with 150 workers and leaders paraded Udaipur town allegedly without permission of police.

In allegation police filed a sue motto case against the six leaders including the MLAs in allegation of harassing people and disturbing peace, law and order of the town. The case filed at R.K. Pur Police Station under case no 91/18 and under Section 147/149/188 of IPC and 82 TC Act. The case admitted at CJM court on Monday last.  The court granted bail for the leaders due to weak charge sheet filed by police.
