Cong demands to increase time of document verification

KAILASHAHAR:

PCC president Birjait Sinha demanded to the State Government to increase the term of verification of documents up to two months to restart payment of different social allowances. He proposed to conduct investigation on necessity according to list by government employees. He announced about the demand of Congress at a press conference at Congress Bhavan in Kailashahar today.

Information revealed that 7 documents of the benficiaries should be submitted by December, 2018 including PAN card and Aadhar card after verifying documents of 4 lakh beneficiaries of social allowances.

PCC president Sinha demanded to ensure security of candidates in the ensuing by-poll of different Municipal Councils. He also announced that Congress will give befitting reply if any violence occurs before by-poll.

He also threatened that on necessity Congress could call 24 hours Tripura Bandh.

Among others General Secretary of PCC Rudrendu Bhattacharjee and District Congress president Md. Badrujjaman were present in the press conference.
