Common Wealth Chess Event: Arshia continues dream form

AGARTALA:

She is just a small kid of 1st standard at Holy Cross School in Agartala and playing like a champion in the ongoing Common Wealth Chess tournament at New Delhi.

Arshia Das, just six years of age is in sublime form in this tournament as in the fourth round of the tournament she faced Under 7 champion Sara Jain of Jharkhand.

With white pawn, Arshia started to play in gay co piano opening and from the start of the match she looked very much aggressive and snatched victory with just 47 moves. At the end of 4 rounds she has 3.5 points.

On the other hand remaining players Soham Nag, Subhranil Majumder, Arunika Ghosh and Parthajit Saha lost their respective matches in the same round.
