AGARTALA:

Batsmen of Tripura Under 23 cricket team let down once again with their batting effort in the second innings of the ongoing Col C K Nayudu Under 23 cricket tournament. Against host Saurashtra today Tripura bundled out for a mere 159 runs in their second innings after taking brilliant 45 runs first innings lead. Chasing 205 runs to win Saurashtra finished day three on the score of 18/0 as they need only 187 runs on last day.

But the batsmen failed to score big and bundled out for a mere 159 runs and that too playing 69.5 overs. Only Rajat Dey played well and scored a brilliant half century just like he did in the first innings of the match for the visiting team Tripura.

Saurashtra started day three with their overnight score of 183/8 and added 39 runs before lost their final two wickets.
