Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb visited the house of former minister Late Nagendra Jamatia at Totabari of Udaipur today after the demise of the veteran minister yesterday.
He expressed his deep mourn and sympathy by meeting with family members of the minister. Former Agriculture minister Negendra Jamatia died yesterday after suffering from prolonged illness. Chief Minister talked with Pabitra Rani Jamatia, wife of late minister, son Kahamanuk Jamatia and daughter Hamari Jamatia.
He said, the government will remain along with them in case of any problem faced by them. Chief Minister passed half an hour along with them.
In the meantime Deb met with interested people and expressed opinion with them who assembled there on the occasion of CM’s visit. The local people informed him about the problem of roads, drinking water. He said, the state government will take necessary steps to solve the problems. He suggested Tourism minister Pranajit Sinha Roy to take necessary steps after looking into the matter.
