Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today batted for a new dawn for Kerala through setting a righteous political party—BJP in the government.
“The people of Tripura created history by scrapping a 25 year long ideology of communism giving a chance to a novice like me. And I feel Kerala which is very much alike to Tripura will also move ahead in the same direction”, said the Chief Minister while addressing the state conference of Bharatiya Matsya Pravanthaka Sangham at Chavakkad, Kerala.
Taking a dig at the opposition fronts— respectively one led by congress and the brigade, he said, the entire opposition has united in two parallel fronts but have no face that could be projected as the Prime Minister. “It is very much like revelry of bridegroom without the groom himself”, he retorted.
He also later claimed, people of Kerala has the spark, in every five years you change the government either setting LDF or UDF in power but now it is the high time to change the taste. This time you should go for BJP, the largest ever political party of the world that has shown the country what development is, he added.
Recounting his early days as a BJP state president in Tripura, he said, I have had heard of lot’s of stories, stories about strong organization of the Left, long protest of the opposition but nothing could stop me from being what am I today just because of the people and Kerala will surely follow the footstep of Tripura in the near future, he hoped. He also condemned the Pulwama incident where Basant Kumar of Kerala was martyred. Other leaders of the Kerala state BJP also attended the programme.
