Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb assured to arrange some flights from Delhi and Kolkata within next 15 days to reduce crisis of air travelers in the state. He gave this assurance during his speech while inaugurating Kalipuja at Shanitala near Old Motor Stand in Agartala today.
Expressing his concern about hike in price of air ticket from Agartala to Kolkata and Delhi he said, it created problem among people of the state. Referring some flight services has been withdrawn from the state in the meantime he said, I am trying my best to reintroduce some services in the state within next 15 days.
He added that he had taken initiative to introduce at least two flights from Agartala to Kolkata and Agartala to Delhi. He said that he discussed the problem with centre and Central Government is also trying to reintroduce the services.
Chief Minister further said, “we will adopt some policies so that the flights could provide service in the state always.”
